Prolis PDF
Prolis PDF is an automated component, to create PDF for all PARTIAL and FINAL reports, processed through
Prolis system, by the laboratory. It is specifically licensed to the laboratory, by American Soft Solutions Corp.
The PDF files generated by this component, are named by concatinating the Accession ID, the Client ID,
Patient Name (Last, First), Patient's DOB and Gender.
The component processes the report only if it is configured to be processed in the ordering Client's configuration
in the Prolis system, as well as with the presense of PDF storage path, in the System Configuration screen of
Prolis. A temporary PDF is created for a PARTIAL report that is over written by a permanent PDF upon the
accession's change of status from PARTIAL to FINAL. A PDF of a FINAL report is permanent unless the lab
makes a change to the FINAL report, to a CORRECTED FINAL. In which case it PDF will be created again for
the latest one.

Prolis PDF Component
An automated component, usually installed on the Prolis server by American Soft Solutions Corp.
The component is configured to run like a system service. If the server is restarted, it starts automatically.
Turn Off Button
Click this button to turn off the component. If the component is in the middle of generating a PDF,
it will complete the current PDF and then it will shut itself down other wise it will shut down immediately.
Current State
In the middle of the screen, the component displays its current state (Processing or Waiting).
Batch
Batch of reports under process or recently processed.
Batch Progress
Indicates the batch progress.
